Turkey is ‘isolated in the region’ because Turkey isolated itself in the region. Modern nations abide by international laws, but not Turkey-it’s still 19 century power politics in Ankara. Their problem is, their economy is going south fast. Their currency has lost 30% of it’s value this year alone against the Dollar and the EURO and it’s going to lose more. Turkey has little if any foreign exchange left to support the Lira and Erdogan refused to ALLOW the Turkish Central Bank to raise interest rates. They’re headed for calamity.
